PLP was established in 1992 as a private Proprietary Limited entity with a mix of shareholders ranging from private investors to active participants.

PLP is the leader in employee, customer and business assistance, and lifestyle management programmes.

The company has expanded from a staff complement of 20 people at its onset, to a current staff complement of over 260 employees. PLP is 34% black female owned and a BEE Level 3 NERA Contributor (National Empowerment Rating Agency).
