Johannesburg, Gauteng, 2017 – Ice Tropez, a bubbly French rosé wine infused with fragrant peach flavours, can now boast with a website that reflects the unique indulgence of their cocktails.
VIP Liquors, the exclusive distribution licence holder for Ice Tropez in South Africa, approached full-service agency, Stratitude, to develop the new website for Ice Tropez.
Daiana Popa, the brand manager of VIP Liquors, says “our brief to Stratitude was to develop an online destination for the brand that exhibits Ice Tropez as more than a cocktail, but as a lifestyle beverage. We wanted the site to portray the brand’s French origins while being relevant to the young and vibey South African market we’re targeting.”
“This was an incredibly fun project for us,” says Sylvia Schutte, Managing Director of Stratitude. “When we were first approached with the redesign of the website, which was created five years ago, we realised that it needed a more modern look and feel. In addition, it had no store locator, which meant customers had no way of knowing where to purchase Ice Tropez.”
“We wanted the website to both reflect the exclusivity of this beverage and speak to the young, fashionable and trendy; hence, we used lifestyle images and micro-shots of the Ice Tropez cocktails. We also included a video on the homepage in order to make the website more dynamic and engaging for the Ice Tropez audience. As people are always on the move, we’ve optimised the website for both mobile and web purposes and built in an easy-to-use online store locator with over 900 outlets, thus, guaranteeing that consumers can easily find and enjoy Ice Tropez wherever they are,” Schutte continues.
Popa says on seeing the site: “We’re ecstatic! The website captures the ideal of cool French summers for a vibey market, and puts Ice Tropez first as the ‘it’ cocktail to quench thirst and spread joy. It exhibits the Ice Tropez way of life.”
